BRONCOS v BULLDOGS
The Bulldogs are on a tear defensively _ no points conceded in the past two games _ and meet a Broncos team struggling in attack. It’s an important game for both teams in regard to premiership legitimacy. Coach Michael Maguire will have his side up. Under 42.5 total points is $1.90 and looks a steal.
ROOSTERS v DRAGONS
The Dragons have won two in a row and are finding the steel associated with Shane Flanagan teams. Best of all, they win close games. The big Anzac Day crowd puts the Dragons in a mood for an upset at $2.05.
WARRIORS v KNIGHTS
Under their current structure the Knights don’t have the game to break down the Warriors’ defence. Warriors giving start has already begun to blow and should continue. The half-full double is a little skinny at $1.67.
STORM v RABBITOHS
Both teams were disappointing last week and will spend this week working on their defence. But Souths have never won in Melbourne and Bennett has lost 20 of 30 games against Bellamy, including the last 11. That said, Souths, with +14.5 at $1.85, in their first Anzac Day clash might be enough. A Storm win, with Xavier Coates to score two or more, is handy at $4.60.
COWBOYS v TITANS
Gold Coast with +8.5 start is a nice bet in a game that should have plenty of points. The Titans like an open game and the Cowboys’ inconsistency is worth betting against. For Cowboys fans looking to go wide, Murray Taulagi and speedster Robert Derby to score two tries apiece at $17 looks nice.
PANTHERS v SEA EAGLES
Tom Trbojevic’s return is the big shift in this game, and given they are at home against a Penrith outfit still out of sorts might be value at $2.55. The +6.5 start is also handy at $1.95. Tommy Trbojevic and Jason Saab to score and Manly to win at $7.50 is a nice exotic.
RAIDERS v DOLPHINS
The Raiders are a fast team causing plenty of problems with their speed in attack. The Dolphins have finally found their groove but the Raiders at home, with plenty of points to be scored the Raiders at $1.95 at -4.5 looks a solid bet.
TIGERS v SHARKS
The Tigers ambushed Cronulla at Leichhardt last year and will be looking to repeat the same. Galvin’s return for Wests is a positive but Cronulla are the safe bet. There should be plenty of points so Cronulla to beat the -6.5 point into Sam Stonestreet to score, with more than 46.5 points, is $4.33.
