Paul Kent NRL Tips Round 11

Better then most punters?

Give it a go to see if you have what it takes to redeem the massive cheque each week.

KNIGHTS v EELS

Parramatta have failed to score first in eight of their nine games this season. The Knights are $1.83 first try scorer so that looks a solid bet. That said, I like the Eels, at $2, to jag one and get the win away. Their attack has greatly improved in recent weeks against a Knights side without a lot of points in them.

BULLDOGS v ROOSTERS

Expect the Bulldogs to start fast this week after poor first halves in recent weeks, with both teams concentrating heavily on defence. Bulldogs at -6.5 ($1.90) into Jacob Kiraz anytime try scorer ($1.78) is a nice double at $3.20. Might be a bet for total points under 44.5 at $1.85.

DOLPHINS v WARRIORS

The Warriors keep finding ways to win, even though they have twice won this year despite being outscored on tries. Warriors in a tough, tight one here, paying $5.25 multi for a Warriors win into under 40.5 total points.

COWBOYS v SEA EAGLES

Problems at Manly put the Cowboys at home in the box seat. With Origin selection this weekend expect several Cowboys to look to return to form with strong games. North Queensland at -2.5 ($1.95) is a nice bet.

SHARKS v STORM

Cronulla at home on a Saturday night is a tough road trip. The Sharks upset Melbourne here last year and have been toiling along through plenty of travel. Finally at home, Cronulla with +4.5 at $1.85 has good value.

BRONCOS v DRAGONS

The Dragons are proving tough to beat but find it tough to win. A Sunday afternoon, with Ezra Mam back to ignite the Broncos, suggests plenty of points in this game. That tips the edge to Brisbane.

RAIDERS v TITANS

A tale of two halves here. Canberra surrendered a 20-point lead last week while the Titans overcame one. A monster clash in the middle but the game will be one on the Canberra edges. I like the overs here with tryscorers markets the way to go. Savelio Tamale ($1.68), Xavier Savage ($1.70) with a Canberra win is $3.30.

TIGERS v RABBITOHS

Tough game to get a read on given the Tigers’ disappointing performance last week. No doubt they’ll bounce back but the Rabbitohs also have their challenges. Might be a good game for exotics.

Multi: Cowboys -2.5, Parramatta win, Bulldogs-Roosters under 44.5 at $7.21.

Bulldogs v Broncos Strangely, the Broncos are more affected by Origin disruptions than the competition pacesetters Bulldogs, given the positions affected. The Bulldogs’ defence might be key here. Total match points at under -44.5 points is $1.90. Raiders v Dragons Canberra are giving -11.5 in the handicap at $1.85, which
